Hello!
We are part of the team at SLU that works with midline defects in Burmese kittens.
It would be valuable to get a report from the breeders with info on whether they have seen any special inheritance patterns of the defect?
Do the breeders have any info that we don’t? thinking they might know things we don’t.
1. Have they been able to identify the gender of any kitten with the defect? Ever?
2. Is there anything special about healthy carriers? or are these identical to non carriers? Leg length, tail length, fur, etc.
3. Is there anything else they can say that would help us do you think?
